Thanks to all Project Directors and Coordinators for attending the media advocacy training. Special thanks to Alice, Joseph, Lauren, and Zoie for agreeing to be "guinea pigs" and having the guts to get on camera!Two follow-up activities that were identified include: (1) Developing a protocol for who speaks to the media when, and (2) Providing opportunities for staff to "practice" in front of a camera (and we do have a videocamera!) What did others think of the workshop? Any other suggestions for how we proceed to strengthen our media savvy/media advocacy?
