Mercer County Youth Out of School Project
This project provides a part-time advocate to assist Mercer County youth transitioning out of juvenile facilities and residential placements to enable them to return to their neighborhood schools or other appropriate education settings, particularly in Trenton.
In-person technical assistance and advocacy is provided to families referred through the Mercer County Youth Services Commission and MCYSC grantees only.
We also conduct trainings on education law and advocacy for staff of CARTS/CIACCs and other agencies working with these youth.
