Students with Disabilities and College:

Whatever Happened to my IEP?

Vincent Varassi, Campus Director, Regional Center for College Students with Learning Disabilities, Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Students and parents are often surprised to learn that the legislation that provided them with an IEP is no longer applicable after high school graduation.  This teleconference will provide information on these differences and addresses preparation of the student for college, Section 504 at the post-secondary level and the need for students to understand their disability and become self advocates.
