6A:16-8.1 Program approval
(a) Each district board of education intending to operate an alternative education program shall first submit an application and obtain approval from the Commissioner of Education.
(b) Each district board of education of an Abbott district, as defined in
N.J.A.C. 6A:24-1.2 , N.J.A.C. 6A:24-1.4(j) and N.J.A.C. 6A:24-6.1(a) 3, shall implement plans providing for the establishment of an alternative middle school and high school.
